Position Overview
As a warehouse manager, you will be responsible for the entire warehouse operation. You will manage people, processes, and systems to ensure goods are received correctly. New release days are incredibly busy, you will be responsible for planning these to ensure that all products are despatched on time.
You will also be responsible for workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock.
Job responsibilities
Ensuring that all orders are shipped correctly and on time
Motivate, organise, and encourage the warehouse team to ensure that all delivery targets are met
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the workplace
Liaising with all departments to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse
Staff appraisals
Stock checks
Essential Skills
Proven warehouse management experience – minimum of 2yrs
Fully conversant with warehouse procedures and best practices
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and stock systems
Experience of promoting health and safety in the workplace
Ability to work well under pressure
Preferred Skills
Health & Safety Certificate (beneficial but not necessary)
Forklift Truck License (beneficial but not necessary)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
Holiday entitlement: 20 days plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days based upon length of service)
